At RVA Doodles, raising Goldendoodles isn’t just a business—it’s a passion. Despite the hard work (and yes, the endless cleaning, sleepless nights and puppy care), I truly love raising puppies and preparing them for life with their future families. Every puppy is raised in my home, surrounded by the love and chaos of everyday life, so they’re well-adjusted to the kind of environment they’ll experience when they go home.

Focus on Quality

At RVA Doodles, we focus on quality over quantity. I limit my program to one to three litters a year, ensuring that each puppy gets the time, love, and attention they deserve. Every moment of the eight weeks they’re with me is spent preparing them to be the best possible pet and family member for years to come.

Home-Raised and Socialized

My puppies are raised right in my living room, at the center of my family’s life. They’re socialized daily and introduced to a variety of sounds, smells, and environments. I start potty and crate training early, laying a strong foundation for their future. My goal is to provide you with a well-rounded, confident puppy ready to adapt to your home.

Lifelong Support for Puppy Owners

Health 

At RVA Doodles, the health and well-being of our puppies are our top priority. Each puppy receives age-appropriate vaccinations, regular deworming, and a thorough health check performed by a licensed veterinarian before heading to their forever homes. We also provide a health statement from the vet to ensure transparency and peace of mind for our new puppy families.

In addition, all our parent dogs undergo extensive genetic health testing through Embark, a leading canine DNA testing service. This testing screens for 245 genetic health risks, ensuring that our breeding dogs are clear of hereditary conditions that could affect the health of their puppies. This commitment to health testing allows us to produce happy, healthy, and genetically sound Goldendoodles, giving you confidence in the lifelong well-being of your new furry family member.

Commitment to Ethical Breeding

All puppies are sold with a spay/neuter contract and are placed in pet-only homes. I do this to ensure my puppies live as cherished family members and to support ethical breeding practices. I would never want to contribute to the over population of animals. I'm also precise in my breeding practices to ensure the healthiest dog I can produce.

I face tough competition from mass breeders and puppy mills, but my heart is in providing healthy, well-socialized puppies to loving families.
